Dust 514 will continue with a skeleton dev team where you will only see minor balancing and sp events. Also alot of players are pissed that they shoved sp events down our throats, were hyped up for fanfest and told to go join in the festivities only to be told that they would be doing this. We also found out that they stopped actively working on dust after 1.8 and have been spending all our money on a different game. It would not be like this if the community still had hope for this game and thought the developers still care about it. I hope that I have given you a little insight. From what I understand legion is very prealpha with no eta. Could be a year or 5 years. I won't tell you to biomass or not because that is up for you to decide... However I think this is just damage control and me as a player needs more. This post is not enough for me. If it does happen, enjoy the extra 50m passive sp on legion in a few years!
